The Fake Album Used To Trick John:

Postcards From The Edge . . . OF CONNECTICUT!
- A birthday package for John!
Patron Well Wishes
Hi Nate,
So 50 is quite a milestone for John sharing 1976 with Rainbow Rising and the dissolution of Deep Purple for the first time after the UK tour in March.
Quite tricky to compose a suitable birthday greeting for someone so well known within our community for his deep thoughts, insightful comments, love of Ozzy and limited tolerance for Blackmore’s Night, it would be easy to take a light hearted approach.
However, this is going to be a big year for John already, I hope he has a fantastic birthday with all his favourite people around him and he gets whatever boxset that would bring him the most joy.
Thanks so much to him (and you) for all the time devoted to the Podcast and all the artists that spin off and around Deep Purple.
All the best
Arthur
Just say ‘Penblwydd Hapus’ from me in Wales and thank him for the laughs. The latest being him humming the tune to Whitesnakes Ready and Willing while trying to think of the song title. ‘It’s on Ready and Willing, it’s on the Ready n Willing album, I’m sure it is!’ …Yes it is John, yes it is!
Kev Roberts
Hey John! Its Ryan ‘never interacts but almost always listens’ M (very short for Manson). Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday! Its been fun building a pseudo parasocial for only 10 bucks a month. What a steal! I wish women were that cheap! Happy Birthday again and congratulations on the engagement! You’ll hear from me again in 2028
Ryan
A Tale of Two Cakes

An original poem by Peter Gardow:
Here is a 50th birthday wish to our podcast boy
Original Poetry by Peter Gardow
The Silver Fox and Kiss fan Uncle John
Who was being driven home from a concert
That was in Wooburn by his Big Brother Rich
Who treats him as a son
Now who is John?
That fashion plate
who wears Capezio shoes
Because it is in his DNA
John’s cloths are from runways
Not extra large
It is never too late for polka-dots
The material that is turbo charged
His love of Dracula movies
And the Count from Sesame Street
Uncle John is sure to give us a Bleah!
Most Every Week!
John’s driver, the ex-cop
Who is a singer cover band galore
said “John, you will like the tunes
From that British man, Gary Moore”
Uncle John just had a deep thought and nodded off
And his actions underscore
The regret the Silver Fox has had
For evermore and evermore
Happy 50th Birthday John!
